Main Concept H.364 technical preview demo encoder

From Main Concept
Tried a VCD encode at 400 kbps and a NTSC full screen DVD rip encode at 1000kbps. Audio is automatically encoded to 224 kbps mpeg2.
Uses their own mpg format.
Could play back only through graphedit.
Filter sequence-Main Concept Demo Mpeg splitter-audio to MC demo audio decoder-video to MC demo H.264 decoder-then video renderer and directsound audio renderer.
Compared DVD rip with xvid encode of same at same kbps. Liked what i saw also the vcd encode.

actually it seems you didnt encode to vcd, but to h.264, which you cant play on a hardware dvd/vcd player

Sorry H.264- converted cd to H.264 at 400 kbps and full screen dvd rip to h.264 and xvid at 1000 kbps.
Just wanted to add info on how it can be played through graphedit.
BTW the encoder has all functions of its regular vcd,dvd encoder as well. As it is a demo-leaves small logo in top left hand corner-comes in black border of letterboxing. Paid version not yet available.
