I have my favorite tv series on dvd, but without my native language so I add this subtitle and author using DVDMaestro new disc.

But now I met great problem. On the last disc for 4th season I have two episodes and some extra material. This 2 episodes are in VTS_01_1.vob to VTS_01_4.vob, in 3 pgc, one, common for both episodes and next 2 separetly for each episode, this is no porblem, I know how to do it in DVDMaestro. But here the problem. There is also vts_01_5.vob ehere are some extra material. on 11 pgc. Episode have 3 audio traks, 1st 5.1 ac3 but this vts_01_5.vob only one audio stareo. While I dmux this vts usin VobEdit, it demuxes only episodes, vts_01_1 to vts_01_5.vob. I can demux each pgc using suvh tool as PGCDemux but I know how to join separate video files in one in DVDMeastro but I don't know what to do with audio. The programm doesn't let me to put next audio file, the same way as with video.

Can anyone help, me please. I want to preserve this dvd as original, menu, episodes and extra material, but onlu adding subtitles to episodes and extra material.

I don't think maestro is capable of joining audio (dvd studio pro,the successor, is IIRC). So you would have to join the streams before authoring in maestro .

I was thinking about joining audio but 1st audio stream in episodes is 5.1 but this extras have only 2.0 audio. I don't think it is possible to join this file. Second I don't know any tools for joining, without recompression ac3 files.

If it's a different PGC isn't it also a different playlist in maestro?

You can join audio files together in Spruce, as long as they are exactly the same type.

With no audio in your timeline, right-click and select sync-audio track, then point an audio file for each video clip, ensuring the ac3 timecode box is unchecked.

This should join the AC3 files together creating a new file which is automatically placed on the timeline.

That may or may not be of some help.

From the sounds of it you have / want all the video on one timeline... What assets do you have exactly?

1 piece of video, 3 pieces of audio
3 pieces of video, 3 pieces of audio

Thanks for your advicem but it doesn't help. I cant join this file into one because ac3 for film is 5.1 ac3 and for extras only 2.0 and maestro doesn't allow to join files with dithrent number of channels.

I did this: i put the aound for extras as 4th sound stream in this dvd, 0x83 but now I have another problem I can't or I don't know how to force to play this audio while plaing this dvd, I changed, using IFOEDIT, audio stream to 3, in IFo filem and in this this pgc with extras but it doesn't help. While playing dvd, ther is now sound, I can manually choos this sound but I want to pay it automaticly.

When you made the pgc playlist for the extra's right click this movieplaylist and disable all the other audio tracks.

Thanks to all. I solved the problem. I ussed PgcEdit and remaped audio streams in this pgc. Now everything is ok.
