My oh my,
I went blind on this.
I'm on a different machine from home now, where everything is working, but here I am unable to get besweet/belight to transcode ac3 to aac/mp4.
Machine is sailing under WinXP-SP2, Besweet latest beta, NeroVisionExpress 3.1.0.0 installed, copied aacplus.dll and aacenc32.dll to BeSweets folder - even NeroIPP.dll which shouldn't be nessecary anymore.
Tried bsn.dll both v0.22 and v0.24... without a difference.

I think the fault is on my side as nobody else complained about this for a long time.
Still, I wonder if bsn recognizes aacplus.dll since it has been aac.dll once before.

See log below.
BeSweet v1.5b29 by DSPguru.

Using azid.dll v1.9 (b922) by Midas (midas@egon.gyaloglo.hu).
Using Shibatch.dll v0.24 by Naoki Shibata & DSPguru (shibatch.sourceforge.net).
Using bsn.dll v0.24 by DPeshev,Richard,E-Male,DSPguru (DSPguru.Doom9.org).

On my side, I've aac.dll...

But for your problem, delete -config command. ;)

To no avail.
Renamed aacpro.dll to aac.dll (dumb): no chance.

Did you try a test with NVE (audio + video) to see if you have the audio part ?

Try also an encode with Nero...

Positive.
Recode performed well, audio as well as video.

I read your last comments on bsn thread Bluedan...I just updated my Nero package now (6.6.0.8a) and all seems to be ok here.

I think you put the wrong dlls into the BeSweet folder. They are in Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins directory. It's Aac.dll and aacenc32.dll. ;)

I appreciate that you care so much to help me overcome my stupidity.

No denial, there's finally a fresh proof of it:
I was desperately trying to find aac.dll in NeroVisionExpress installation rather than in Nero Burning Rom!! :o

Heaven!
Who could have thought that they don't install the same audio dlls?
