problem withsubtitles in auto gk

i have a problem with burnt-in subs in autogk. i get subtitles that are smaller and in a position above the one the normal subs have . i've tried adjustsubs from autogk assistant but the subs were hidden by the lower black bar. i tried to change the direct vobsub configuration but nothing happened except one time that the where bigger and placed on the lower black bar and out of the picture .that was fine (if not perfect except that the original subs were also displayed and so i had two sets of subs displayed at the same time )
i know i'm a noob and believe me i tried to read everything i found about that problem of mine but i still don't have any good results .
please help me !!!
