how do I get the settings to stick?

I was trying out VirtualDub 1.6.4 for capture. Under Video->Tuner, there is this TVTuner Property Page where I can set my input to either Anthenna or Cable. I did that but the setting does not stick; it will aways revert to Cable. Help anyone?

I tested on both PCTV card and Compro Videomate. Both give me the same outcome.

After making all the settings go to "Device -> Device Settings and check all options starting with "Save current..." Close VDub. On the next start everything should come up as before.

I saw your posting in the Capture forum, you are moving to VirtualDub from VirtualVCR. Good for you.

Your proposed solution does not work. It will still revert to Cable if I re-start VirtualDub.

Actually, the same goes with the Country code but I've managed to locate the registry location and have it changed there. Unfortunately, I can't seems to find the location from changing Anthenna/Cable selection.
