In Scenarist is it possible to put two subtitles which have the same language id?
For example i want to add English and English for the hearing impared? How do i do that cause it seems to be confusing the 2 id's.

anyone can help? Is it in dvd specs to use 2 different subtitles with the same name?

It's fine to do that. You shouldn't have any problems. Just remember to check the 'Subpicture Attribute' section of the title in the Scenario Editor. If you have more than 1 Stream ID that is the same, it won't automatically enable both, so you'll have to do it yourself.

ok here's the problem.
I have 4 Subtitles.Italian, English, English for HI and spanish.
If i set the ID's like this:
Italian=Italian
English=English
English for HI=Not Specified
Spanish=Spanish
everything works great and in the subpictures attributes it shows me all the 4 subs.

BUT!!! if i set the ID's like this:
Italian=Italian
English=English
English for HI=English
Spanish=Spanish
then it does NOT recognize the 4th subtitle and it does not shows the 4th in the subpictures attributes.
Is there something i must do manually??

Right, you will need to manually set the ID streams in the Scenario Editor. Select the title with the video in and in the 'Property Browser' , at the bottom set the 'Subpicture Availabilty Flag Policy' to custom, and make sure all the streams are ticked. (there will probably be one not ticked!) Now, just to make sure the allocation is correct, select the PGC in the title, and check each subpicture stream ID in the 'Subpicture Attribures' in the 'Property Browser'. It should all be fine after that.
