View Full Version : Audio timing problem using AutoGK + DVD Decrypt

with the latest versions of AutoGK, DVD Decrypt and the AC3 filter, and following the tutorial given with AutoGK, whenever I rip any DVD I own, be it a stargate SG1 series, or Lord of the Rings, I always get a file that looks fine, but the audio is like a terrible anime dub, offset by a couple seconds with the audio coming before the speech.

Forgot to toss in a few details, I am using the AC3 filter, but any of the other audio filters have the same effect, I have tried different file sizes, audio codecs, and both at the same time to no avail. I see two possibilitys, something is fooked on my computer I need to reinstall, compensate for, etc, or maybe something with the dvd rom drive, or some setting I am overlooking.

I would include the agk file from my latest try at 1/5th a dvd size and AC3 audio codec (or at least auto which iirc picks ac3 when available and it was) was a episode from a disk of season 7 of stargate SG1 (yea I know, im a geek), but it appears editing doesnt allow you to upload files. If someone wants to look at it to see if there is a problem in it, post on here and I will toss it to ya in a PM or something.

I tried to search for this but in the end I got pages of topics that had nothing to do with my problem, sorry for the inconvenience if it has been answered before. I will appreciate any help someone can throw my way.

So basically you say you have A/V desync, right? Then obviously you didn't search hard enough. I cannot imagine how many times the same issue has come up and addressed too.
