This must be a FAQ, but I haven't turned up anything useful through search.
Many (most?) adult DVDs contain a mix of single and multi-angle scenes. I attached the output from IfoEdit for a typical movie below. When I rip these using DVD Decrypter and selecting Angle 1, the audio falls out of sync after each multi-angle scene. The effect is cumulative, so that by the end of the movie it's off by a second or two. However, if I just rip a contiguous range of cells from late in the movie, the audio is in perfect sync. And, of course, the DVDs maintain sync throughout the film when played on a DVD player.
In other words, given the example below, if I rip the entire movie, by the time it reaches cell 52, it's horribly out of sync. But if I rip just cells 52-55, they're in perfect sync. This seems to indicate that DVD Decrypter has the information it needs to maintain sync throught the movie.
If it were one or two films, I would just sync them manually. But I have a fairly large collection that I'd like to convert to MPEG-4, and it's impractical to spend that amount of time on each.
If anyone can offer a solution, I'd be most grateful.
