This sounds as if you are trying to make a backup of one of the newer DVDs which have Sony's ARccOS copy protection scheme. Do a search on "Forgotton" or "Resident Evil" or "Grudge" and see what you can learn.

The message you refer to from DVDDecrypter was actually NOT intended to be an error message.

(I refer to to these messages:)

Those lines are simply to alert you that you are trying to back up one of the discs which appears to have this new copy protection. You can typically expect to see a whole lot of later messages, including an "ARRGGH!" message. This is normal. Do a search.

Yeah, it is probably best to spell it correctly (and not the way I did -- "Forgotton"), if one is going to do a successful search.

Do a search on "Forgotten."
