DVD2SVCD fails to make bin and cue files

I am trying to convert a dvd to svcd, but every time I run dvd2svcd the conversion ends when it tries to make the bin and cue files.

I have the latest build (1.2.2 build 3), and have used it before with no problems what so ever.

Hard to say what went wrong with so little information.
Perhaps this sticky (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19566) would be a good startpoint.

As for the problem, the most common reason for failure to create image files is low disc space. Check you haven't run out!

Cheers for your reply, I will try again, then post the log file if it fails again. In answer to your question, I do have sufficient disk space, something like 25gb left, and I tried to convert an avi earlier today and full success.
