PRODUCTION UPDATE: There are NO Chapter or Scene Selection menus in Mulholland Drive, this has been done at the request of the Director, it is a world wide directive and this is why the chapter selection does not work. I guess you could pop some in with TMPGenc DVD Author, or something.
@whitespliff - have you got a link for Memento (which I loved but had to play it twice to get it all)!, LOL.

Lynch has said he doesn't like chapters because films are ment to be seen as a single veiwing experience, from beginning to end. I understand his point, and I think most viewers prefer and do watch movies that way, but it seems egotistical to remove that control from the viewer.
Re: Memento. I have the 2 disc version. The first disc contains the normal feature, the second disc has the full feature with the script as a second angle. As an easter egg within the already confusing menu you can get the second disc to play the movie in chronological order. It starts off with the credits playing backwards, then the B&W scenes in the hotel room and then the color scenes in the reverse order from the film.
Also, as far as 'getting' the film, Nolan pulls a bit of a fast one on the audience. The first disc has a director's commentary, but it's a little different than normal. There are actually 4 different endings to the commentary, as it seamlessly branches at random during the last 20 minutes of the film. Two of the endings tell you 'the truth' about Leonard's condition and whether Teddy is lying, but the explinations completely contradict each other.

@jeanl
I had a problem here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=617534#post617534). I think it's a PgcEdit problem but I used MenuShrink in the process.
