hey, this is a very odd problem. any xvid rls that i use in winamp works fine. but when i rip one i can't skip through the movie with winamp but i can with winmedia player. i'm using XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe ...anyone have an idea what this could be?

and when i open the avs file with vdub it says avisynth open failure: mpeg2source: couldn't open source file, or obsolete D2v file line 18 which is mpeg2source("E:\DIE_HARD_DISC1\VIDEO_TS\dh1d2v.d2v")
using that dgindex and dgdecode.dll

thanks

This has really nothing to do with xvid, it's about:
- avisynth
- winamp.

Moving to beginners forum.

Cheers

It means you need to recreate the d2v file because your version of DGDecode doesn't match the version of DGIndex.

so i guess i'll just dl the newest of both and hope for the best
you'd think they'd take that into consideration when making a gknot rip pack for doom9 :\
