DVDDecrypter Err: "Logical Unit Not Ready, cause not reportable"...

In the last few days i've got this strange error msg from dvd decrypter, the problem occurs every time i start dvd decrypter, open my tray, insert a blank dvd to write it, and then close the tray (i've also tryed to re-start my windows xp sp1 with dvd inserted and got the same error):

Sense: 70 00 02 00 00 00 00 10 B5 80 BB FF 04 00 00 00 00 00 08 23 03 45 43 00
Sense - Interpretation: Logical unit not ready, cause not reportable

The same problem is reported if I use Nero, or Alcohol 120% or anything else, so i'm sure it's not a dvdecryper prob, i'm asking here hoping in some kind of help to understand the reason of the problem.

Windows XP SP1
ASPI 4.71.2 installed (Just the XP32 part)
Burner: LG GSA-4082B

Any suggestion/help/advice is very welcome.

It means your drive doesnt like the discs you're using.

Ensure you're running the latest firmware, and if you are, buy some different discs.

Thanks 4 the answer, i'll check the firmware. Btw I cannot believe that the burner suddenly refuses these dvd (Fujifilm 8x), because in the last few months i've burned near 70 same discs without a problem.
I'm beginning to think that could be an hardware issue.

I had similar issues with my writer UNTIL I replaced the ide cable that I had with the one that came with the writer...since then I've had no trouble...
