The reason I am asking is because some .avi files I have won't allow me to drag and drop in to create a new dvd. One way I got around that is by using AIMONE Video Converter to convert my .avi files into another type of .avi files with different (different codec) and then it allowed me to drag and drop into Nero. But the problem with this is that Nero would then have to re-encode it again... in result taking about 3 or more hours just to encode and burn.
Is there a software out there that would just encode my .avi files or perhaps other files into the proper dvd encoding format so Nero wouldn't have to re-encode it again? Any help or suggestion would be great.
