I've used in the past the MCI calls exposed from winmm.dll to playback avs files.
Recently though, after I had to reinstall XP on my machine, all I get using MCI calls is a black screen if the AVS has "ConvertYUY" in it..
DirectX calls, Mediaplayer, etc all seem ok.. Just MCI is broke..
Anyone have any idea what might be the cause of this.

I've tried installing ffvfw and ffdshow but neither have an impact..
