Option 'Force avg video bitrate', please.

I would like to use D2S in DVD2DVD mode with Tylo's RoBa plugin to resize oversized DVB captures.

But D2S consistently calculates too high avg video bitrate value for my material (I guess there are some troubles with the ac3 audio files which I get in the DVB capture procedure {wtvp227_beta, ProjectX 0.81.9, Mpeg2Schnitt06l/m, IfoEdit, DVD-lab Pro}, see http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=89895 ). So I cannot use D2S+RoBa for my material.

I would need an option to save D2S the work to calculate the avg video bitrate for the CCE step or to override its calculation, sort of an option 'Force avg video bitrate=4711 kbps'.
I would like to read my value 4711 in RoBa's log. Example:
- Movie length : 02:01:24 (182107 frames, 25 fps)
- D2S audio select : 160 + 448 kbps
- D2S video calc. : 4711 kbps, 1 CDs
...

And in D2S's log. Example:
Image Quality: 17
VAF file creation: On
Video Encoding Mode: Multipass VBR
Min. bitrate: 300
Max. bitrate: 8000
Avg. Bitrate: 4711
Aspect Ratio: 4:3 (No borders, encoded as 4:3)
...

Is that possible? How?

@dvd2svcd
Or, could this be a feature for a new D2S beta in the near future?

In the bitrate tab, check the "Min. Av." box, then set both min. av and max av. bitrate to your chosen figure and try that.

Bingo! It works!
Thanks a lot!
