Partial DVD backup

I would like to backup a DVD but I don't want to keep the last chapter (I want the menus and extras too).
I know that it's possible to select the chapters with CloneDVD 3.0 but the quality is really bad by comparison with DVDShrink. Is there another simple way to do it (I'm a beginner) ?

Another question: what is the real size of a DVD+R (DVD-5)? For CloneDVD: 4.7 Go; DVDShrink: 4.35 Go; InstantCopy: 4.32 Go...

You can do that with DVD Shrink I believe. Just use the "Entire Disc" mode, and set the endpoint of the movie wherever you like. The rest will be cut out.

The real size is 4.7 million bytes, which equals 4,482 MB and 4.37 GB.

afaik you can only use this feature when doing 'reauthoring' backups... in other words, backups without menus etc

I just tried that, and yes, you are right. It's only possible in reauthor mode.
