I'm looking for available softwares able to mux MPEG-2 HD video ES + AC3 into MPEG-2 Transport Stream. What are the best workflows to achieve this ?
Thanks a lot for your help.

From the documentation it seems VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) will do it, but I don't have first-hand experience with it.

I don't know of any other free ones.

Hi all,

Thanks a lot for your advices.
I've made some testings with Moonlight M71 DS filter from XMuxer pro, VLC and Womble MPEG Video Wizard ( http://www.womble.com/mvw-text.htm ), which seems to be the easiest tool to use so far ...
The command line I've used with VLC was :

vlc input.mpg --sout "#std{mux=ts,access=file,url=output.ts}"

I had to mux the video ES and AC3 ES into a Program Stream file before, but it seems to work ...

Manzanita's products seem very good, but far too expensive for me ;)
PixelTools also provides such kind of muxing tool ( http://pixeltools.com/transmux.html ).
