Hi Everybody,
Apologies if this is already on the forum, but I haven’t spotted anything that seems to relate to it. (If there is, maybe you can point me in the right direction.)
I am new to copying and backing things up from DVD and have found your site an excellent source of info. But, can you help with this...
I have a number of DVDs with pop videos on and want to copy them onto my hard drive so I can watch them in Windows Media Player. Using DVD Decrypter I am successfully ripping the right songs, then as hard-drive space is not an issue, just renaming them to .mpg files so Media Player can 'see' and play them. Most play OK but some (from more than one disk) have what looks like either additional green coloured frames inserted or frames which have been changed to green. The effect is like green flashing during playback.
One of the files I changed back to .vob and played with PowerDVD and it played fine. I havn't copied any other files, just the VOBs. Any clues? I'm guessing I may need to use a program to convert it to another format, but what do I know, that's why you're reading this!
