Dvd Rebuilder V76
Gladiator R1
CCE V2.7.1.5.0
Avinsynth V2.5.5.0
DGDecode V1.1.0.0
1Pass W/Analysis
Everything kept
I did a encode with v76 and from where the dropouts/blips/glitches were before aren't there anymore. About the sizing of v76 it was slighty oversized this time by 10megs. So i just chopped one of the vts with vobblanker so I could burn it and view it. I'm going to watch through the whole movie just to make sure there's no other audio glitches. From what I can tell very good work jdobbs and thanks for to that other beta tester for his findings.

Slightly oversized... did you change the TargetSectors?

At the moment I'm testing one of my "problematic" movies as well, to see if the errors has been eleminated with the latest DVDRB build.
Hopefully I'll end up with the same positive result

Excellent news.
If that bug is fixed the only thing keeping me back from 'buying' the software is that it doesn't do both sides of seamless branching. I have a few titles set aside just waiting for this feature to be fully developed. (for small sections I'll do it, but some movies have 30+ minutes, and without downsizing the rest the whole thing just suffers)

i agree 100%.

Sorry to say it but I still have audio glitches on both my dvd players. New JVC and an old portable Pioneer.
Just tested it on a certain problematic scene from a movie.I still have the glitches. What's strange is, that if I rewind to the start of the scene. Sometimes the glitches are gone.
I have the same setup as described at top of this thread. But I did a 2 pass VBR. (Latest CCE though)

As I've said before... nobody else is getting that audio glitch -- so it has to be something on your end. Continually announcing it from the same person does not make it a system problem.

You might be right Jdobbs, but still I find it very strange that all other backups of this movie done by other programs does not give me the glitches.
Like I wrote ealier, the setup it done in the right way...
Its small glitches in sound, nothing special, but they are there, and maby people don't complain because they have not notised or their standalone is not affected.
I only get the problems on some movies. Actually the problems are normally on movies from the same Danish "production company". Maby its the way these movies are produced.
Sounds unlikely I know, but the fact is that I have never got any problems with other movies, since you solved the drop out issue long time ago.
Do you think 1 pass with analysis could solve the problem?

Perhaps donating is a better word. In any event I wouldn't see a reason to have the latest and greatest (IE VIP, IE bought) version unless I had a reason to use it other then being lazy (IE Seamless branching working all the way) :-)
Of course this is the wrong thread for such comments, but you did ask.

Interesting when people are only willing to donate for development of something after it is already developed. Oh well...

Sounds great, please let me know how it went. I'm on my way testing the "One pass with analysis" now
Even though I think the result is the same

I prefer to think of it as paying for something I will use vs paying for something I don't use.
I'm sure you saw a huge increase in your donations when you went to the VIP system, so it should come as no great shock to you that people are more willing to pay for things they want and will use.
In any event I didn't mean to hijack this thread, I do apologize to the audio dropout folks that are looking for help and don't want to see this nonsense.
Carry on :-)

Yeah... sure. Whatever rocks your boat.
I went from "virtually none" to "almost a few"... so for those of you who are thinking about it -- depending upon the goodwill of those who use your work isn't really an alternative.
If you can't be satisfied by your own accomplishment, my advice: it's better to sell it.

I just did Seinfeld S3 D1, same settings as the gladiator encode but 6passes instead of 1. It is perfect. Great work jdobbs finally got this one nailed. Erikson I don't know why it didn't fix your dropouts.

Good news, guess its only small probs with this movie. It would be nice if you had the same one for testing. But its a Danish movie so..

If you are posting in this thread and still have not donated, you are just cheap ..
