DGdecode.dll 1.2.0 RC3 or higher. Last one that works is V1.2.0 b6.
Worth mentioning is that V0.75 worked with RC2?

Error reported now when playing AVS file in player with incompatibile mpeg decoder was:

"MPeg2source couldn't open file, or obsolete D2V file."

I think Neuron (D. Graft) changed something in the new version that makes alghorithm for writing D2V file in DVDRB obsolete. I am switching back to what Jdobbs recommends until further notice.

The d2v format has changed. If you want to use the new version of DGdecode.dll you'll have to make a new .d2v file with the new version og DGindex.

DVD-RB creates the D2V files itself from scratch -- creating one from DGIndex won't work with DVD-RB.

If you feel compelled to upgrade DGIndex -- just make sure you have one of the working DGDECODE.DLL files still on your system (e.g. in the DVD-RB directory -- and pointed to by RB) if you want DVD-RB to continue working.

DVD-RB does not use any of the other parts of DGIndex -- it only requires DGDECODE.DLL to act as a decoder of the the original stream.
