I'm trying to do my first Avi --> DVD conversion. I get this message. Does someone know what this means?

Not sure.
Things to try are the Virtual Dub trick in the "AVI2*** fails..." sticky at the top of the forum.

Also, in this build you have two options for audio extraction, Internal or VfW. You can toggle between them in the Audio tab. If one fails, try the other.

Edit - the other thing that used to cause this was a problem with DirectShowSource. If you use DirectShowSource as your AVI handler this sometimes happened. But I was pretty sure Sh0dan fixed that bug in the bundled version of Avisynth

Anyway, if you don't use the preview pane before starting the encode, if this is the same issue, it will work. If you use preview to check your settings, close and reopen DVD2SVCD before doing the conversion and see if that fixes it.

Please post back and let us know how you get on and what (if anything) fixed it for you.

Setting the audio extraction to Internally fixed the problem.
Thanks for your help!
