Are you talking about installing a different version of 2.50.xx? If not, then you don't have to remove 2.50. RB offers three different paths for CCE: Basic, SP (2.66, 2.67, 2.70) and 2.50. Just place your 'newer' CCE version in it's own folder, and use setup to point RB to the correct folder (remember to use eclCCE when necessary). When preparing a project, just choose the newer CCE version under options/CCE.

No. ECL has no support for CCE 2.70 - but you directly link to the exe of cce 2.70 - it works great. but there is one problem ecl disables some Hotkeys of CCE an without this tool a hit on your space bar will close the encoding task of cce. so be carefully with you spacebar!

Remember that you may have to modify the CCE Trial header in the Rebuilder INI for it to work, depending on the version you're using. If you look at the RB v.71 changelog, you'll see a note about this.
