Shrink won't work with that DVD without help. You need to use the latest version of DVD Decrypter to rip it first.

Any other way besides using Decrypter.

You could install DVD43 3.5. This runs in the background and will let Shrink read the DVD. It works like AnyDVD.

Install the DVD43 program.
It starts when the OS starts (alhtough this is not needed). When the program is running it appears in the system tray as a yellow face. When you insert a DVD. The software reads the DVD and turns the face green. Then load Shrink and use "open disc" on the DVD. Shrink should then read the disc like it normally does.
I don't have it on startup and just click on the shortcut icon when I need to use it. It can also set the region code for the drive without atcually reducing the region counter. I can then do R1 DVD's in my locked R2 drive and bot worry about reducing the region changes.
This is only needed on DVD's with the Arcoss DVD protection such as Resident Evil 2, Little Black Books, The Grudge etc. DVD Decrypter and Shrink can still read DVD's with just CSS protection.
