View Full Version : WMP10 crashes Opera, but WMP9 does not

Hi,

anyone noticed the same problem with Opera and Windows Media Player 10 plugin: when loading a site which needs the WMV plugin to play a video the Opera browser crashes if the Verion of WMP is 10. But going back to WMP 9 the videos play fine?

Ok, you might say "just don't use WMP10" but I want to know if somebody has a clue to what is causing this.

P.S.: Someone with the same problem posted on the Opera forum about this, and the only answer he got there was: "On my system Opera works fine with WMP10..." :D

Nah, I think it's one of those mysterious bugs in Windows that some people have and others don't.

I agree with dZeus & Wilbert. :D

Well, I rolled back to version 9... I even found an inofficial installer without DRM. ;) Illegal?

And I upgraded my Opera to 8.0beta2!!! :p
