Hey jdobbs, sorry for the seperate thread but i was just wondering if you had shelved angle reencoding or whether you were still working on it. Seems you are heavy into de-bugging (with some great help from the boards), and as far as i can tell rebuiler is nearing perfection.. congrats. The reencoding of large angles i remembered you mentioned you were working on but i havent heard about it in awhile.

again thanx for the quick updates and debugging.

Everytime I receive a new VIP version on my mailbox I jump to the change list and cross my fingers hoping multiangle recoding is there, but :(

Anyway, there's no doubt jdobbs is working very hard making a lot of people happy ( QuEnc, OPV, dropout,...), so , keep on the good work ! :)

It's on the list -- and I work on the coding whenever I get a chance. I've already tested the reencoding etc. and it works fine. I have some work to do on the timing of the ILVU reauthoring.

I try to prioritize based upon scope -- and since most movies are fine without it, it never moves to the top of the list. My main objective now is to stabilize (get rid of all error conditions) or I'll be in a forever loop in beta status. That doesn't mean it will be a long time -- but it probably won't be in until just before or a part of the v1.00 release.

If the angles or ILVU are in the extra's on the disc and quality is not too important I dvdshrink the angles/ILVU and then use rebuilder to do its magic.

Though I must admit when I recieve my personal copy of the latest rebuilder I have fingers crossed hoping angle/ILVU has been implimented. But as the saying goes

the best things come to those who wait :O)
