I have not had this problem before, I did a search on it and could only find blurbs on possible causes.
I just spent 3 days encoding a DVD I do NOT care about a possible cause I want to know how to fix my encoded DVD so that it will re-build properly and not give the ifo update errors.
If DVD-RB can not do it then is there an altertinive program that can rebuild it?

This is beta software. I do care about the cause, and that's the reason it is out here -- for beta testing.
Doom9's site is filled with alternatives.

filled with alternatives, yes, none that can automatically rebuild however (would you ask something other than powerpoint to fix a crashed powerpoint presentation?)
without ever knowing if cce failed on a cell (which it wont tell you) you ahve now way of knowing, even if you remux with an authoring software, whether it will be right.
best bet?
right down all your settings here, including anything you did to the disk before hand, and hope we can figure it out.

"Powerpoint crashed. Why?"
Hell, I might even go so far as to tell them what was happening at the time or what the circumstances were surrounding the error.

mayb you want to rephrase that post with some constructive information so that jdobbs (or another helpful member ;) ) can actually make some sense out of your post...
and also, it helps not to whine as much as you do... your not the only person on this planet you know..
if you dont care about a possible cause and dont want to spend time/effort on searching for an answer, why the hell are you on a forum?? thats not how it works here..

@Socio, you could enable "Special Error Processing" in the options menu, and then try rebuilding the disk.
I believe it is used to possibly rebuild a difficult disk.
It cant hurt to try....
