Hi,

Can anyone enlighten me as to the meaning /use of the Preferences..AVI..Directly decode uncompressed YCrCb (YUV) sources switch?

I believe it means to use VirtualDub's internal YUV to RGB conversion routines, instead of asking a Windows codec to do the conversion. I recommend to keep it checked.
