i have a backed up dvd and the main movie files are messed up. I want to replace the Main movie VOB files with good ones but when i do i get this: Error reading input VOB: Unsynchronized. please help me

Something definitely got corrupted along the way. Try redoing your DVD again. By the way, what are you using to produce you backup?

It's a bad rip. Try ripping it again from your original.

A search would have revealed the very current thread (started 9 Feb '05) that 2COOL pointed to.
