View Full Version : How to change Force Select Button in menu??

Because of a mastering error I have to change the preselected button in a menu.
The menu has 2 buttons START (1) and SZENES (2).
PGCedit shows the button information but you cannot change the forced selected one!
VTSM 1 / LU 1 / PGC 1, PG 1, Cell 1: VOB ID 1, Cell ID 1, 1:11.13
Group 1 (undefined), 2 buttons, force select button 2, force action button 0I want to force select button 1.
How can I change that? May be a patch address/search string for the cell? I'm not familar with the PGCedit sources, but there must be a way out.

Do it in VobEdit.

Load the menu up in VobEdit, click on Buttons down the bottom to bring up the button info.

Navigate to the NavPack of the cell and change the force select button number at 0x00a1.

I never thought of VobEdit. It works.
Many thanks.

But on a motion menu you have to change a lot (100 and more) navigation packs in the cell.
Maybe r0lZ can implement such a feature. :D

Maybe r0lZ can implement such a feature. :D That's why MenuEdit was created. ;) Back in the old school days, we didn't even need to use VobEdit as we just used a hex editor for finding and replacing.

I think Menuedit allows for autoaction to be selected, but not forced select.

I am usually wrong though as you will undoubtedly point out :)

Regards No, I think you are right. There was one point when I mentioned it to Dimad and he said I think he said he was going to implement it and never did.
