.MP4 to .AVI

Wanna convert a .mp4 file into a .avi, so it can be used in TMPGEnc. But don't know what's the best way of doing this, and if I lose quality.
Anyone can help me?

IMO it is a good idea is to post a link to the thread which contained the helpful post.

That way, when one searches this topic they can see this thread which would contain a link to the solution, thus increasing the value of the searching.

But I managed to do it, by using the right programs. It should be added to the FAQ (I didn't see it there, but may have missed it :p)

If you manage to play your MP4 in Windows Media Player, TMPGencoder can also open it for encoding to MPEG, using its built in DirectShow module.
