DVBPortal HDTV Pump Filter - system specs - magic???

also sorry if this isn't the right forum

i read this on the page of the DVBPortal HDTV Pump Filter (from thw news)

"Requirements for HDTV Playback

- Pentium III 700 or better
- HDTV capable MPEG codec
- Windows 2000 SP2 / Windows XP
- DirectX 9"

i've always seens specs asking for ~3x that cpu power as minimum for hdtv resolutions

is this some magic or did i misunderstand something?? (maybe it's for hdtv streams at none hdtv resolutions..)

there's only one way to make sure... use the darned thing ;) I've crossed the 1 GHz border in 2001..

as i thought, it's just the minimum specs for using the filter, not including the decoding
