From time to time I receive PM's that I would like to keep. Is there any option that would allow us to forward such PM's to our personal e-mail addresses?
Also, I notice that vBulletin Version 2.2.8 offers a PM Quota display: -

Can this be activated in vBulletin Version 2.3.0?
Cheers

Also, I notice that vBulletin Version 2.2.8 offers a PM Quota display: -That's not a vbb feature.. that's a hack ;) And since you cannot do it in this board, forwarding PMs to email is not a feature either.

I just don't get why doom9 forums use such old version of vBB. No offence, but in my eyes it's a stone age... It's fast, no doubt, but still... Using one of the latest 3.x would give more features to users. Also layout can be seen in different modes (threaded or not etc), plus XHTML compatible, more search-engine robots friendly, etc etc etc...
I have my own forum which is about 1.3-1.4x times bigger doom9.org's, ran it for past 5 years, vBB all the way baby. Not trying to be a smartass here, just trying to point out that I got some expirience with forums ;)

@MaxT: the upgrade is planned. However, we run a pretty complext custom hack that had to be ported (we really hope it'll finally make its way into vbb3.1 so that we'll be left with a few minor hacks that can easily be ported to new versions). Since the hack is custom made, it's not as easy as start the update script ;)

Tell me about it :p My vBB 2.x had at least 60 hacks from vBB.org, plus 2-3 custom ones. Upgrading to vBB 3.x was really pain in the ass with such amount of posts/users. And users got used to old features which had to be reimplemented on version 3.x.
Ah, joy of being an admin  :D
