Encoding video on Sony's new handheld PSP console is proving to be an interesting challenge. There's a lot of discussion on the internet about various encoding profiles but the unfortunate fact is that the machine is cripped to 15fps and 29.97fps playback.
29.97fps playback is obviously the more ideal - however, using this frame rate produces ghosting on the display. Yellows and blacks seem to be the worst offenders, ghosting heavily on fast movement, with red ghosting also noticeable (but seemingly not as bad).
Now then, I was wondering if there was any kind of 'phase shift' style Avisynth (or even After Effects) plug-in that could run through the footage and adjust for the TFT's latency, reducing the ghosting?
