DVD_RB v.72
CCE v2.70 trial

Just had this unfortunate mishap.

Just to let the unwary know about, touching the "Spacebar" with the
"D2VAVS" folder open while encoding with CCE, as it will "SKIP" the Segment presently being encoded.

I dont know if this happens under other circumstances while encoding
as I havent checked.

Damn, Its a shocker if your not ready for it.

It's a stupid design by CCE. When the encoder pops up the default button selected is the 'cancel' button. So if your typing away and the CCE window pops up it can cancel the segment encode and DVD-RB will go right along to the next one.

That's why one of the best features of EclCCE is the 'hide cancel button' option. Unfortunately it doesn't support 2.70.

If this happens to you the best thing to do is to:

1. Hit pause in DVD-RB and then close the program.
2. Cancel the next encode.
3. Open the rebuilder.inf file in the D2VAVS folder and decrement the "Encode_Progress=" line by 1 (or more if needed)
4. Launch DVD-RB, Turn off 1-click mode if needed, then click the encode button and click Yes to continue where you left off.

It should then start encoding the segment you canceled.

Alternatively, you can just manually encode the segment after DVD-RB finishes by cutting it's job out of the Rebuilder.ecl file, pasting it into item.ecl and the loading that into CCE.

Thanks wmansir,

It certainly brings up panic when unexpected.
CCE's been a great program, though a few operational
flaws apear to escape the programers, still, whats life without
adventure. Hmmm....
