Software Question: MP3 collecetion manager

Hello all,

I'm lookin for a piece of software to help organise my collection of mp3's.

I have them all backed up on a seperate computer and need a way to update this back up easily when i get hold of new content.

Is there any software which i can point at my libray and backup which will compare them and copy all new stuff to my back up?

Compare by id3 tags would be much better than filenames, and f/oss software is always preferred.

any ideas ?

I didn't understand what exactly you try to do. I use MP3Cat and SyncBackup however (as can be seen here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=88815)).

Definitely take a look through the thread stax pointed you too, there are several MP3 organizational suggestions in there. MPEG Audio Collection (http://mac.sf.net) is my favorite, you also may want to take a look at iTunes (haven't tried it, but heard it has some decent organizational capabilities).
