is there any plugins to play nero mp4 files in media player
without installing the nero kit and to display the subtitles.

for playback the answare is the same as in the other thread. Use ffdshow. You need a mp4 splitter too. Read the MP4 FAQs (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62723) for info.
The subtitle can be displayed only in nero showtime (for now).

What is your favourite mp4 player? I´m looking for a player which will show the ttxt subtitels, where you can change languages and where you have full 5.1 support and at the end which shows the nero chapters. I´m dreaming :) Really?

Hi JoeBG,

There have been quite a few posts about this subject on the forum already!

Currently, VLC player is "sometimes" capable of displaying NeroDigital subtitles (depending on the build) for both Mpeg4/SP/ASP and AVC streams.... As for chapters, nope!

Actually, the VLC Player can change language tracks, and supports 5.1 sound. Plus, it plays AVC too. I don't know about chapters...
