Direct Show Filter for ttxt Subs in MP4

Hi,

does someone know where I can get such a filter?

In the moment my gpac package (0.2.4 from 26.01.2005) does´nt display my subs. I think in general it would be easier to display the subs in Direct Show player together with the Nero Chapters. Has anyone an idea how to do :) ??

:) Do you know that I´m waiting for this release for such a long time :
- first because of chapters and subs in the new muxer
- and now because of the splitter

Are the MP4 subs specs free or is it required to buy the standard from ISO? Any licensing costs associated?

Are the MP4 subs specs free or is it required to buy the standard from ISO?well i am sure you can buy the specs from ISO too (as all mpeg specs), but defacto the specs are freely available (use search), especially as they are as good as totally based on the 3gpp tx3g text stream specs (the mpeg-4 timed text specs are only 16 pages thick, mainly refering to 3gpp)

Any licensing costs associated?not to my knowledge, but you might want to check whether someone asks for licenses for tx3g

I feel the same. And you hear all beta-testers speaking about how great it is....:(
