Gladiator R1, I've tried this encode using a 1pass VBR w/analysis, CCE SP 2.67.00.23, Everything Kept. I was really hoping that this version would fix the dropout problem. The dropout is longer than any other I've noticed it lasted for about 2-3seconds. It was right at the beginning of chapter 8, unusual for dropouts atleast in the encodes I've done. As For Summer Of Sam R1, You have fixed the problem that cause the audio to become out sync and small blips that proceed when its not in sync. This makes sense because it is right at the end of the chapter. Great work jdobbs, I hope this audio dropout becomes resolved in the future sometime...

minor things to check..
1. does source (ripped files) play fine?
2. is the glitch present in pc dvd player or standalone or both
3. is the glitch at a layer break (check with ifoedit)

The original plays fine, The dropout issue is only on my pioneer dv343 but not on my philips dv642 or the ps2. Layer break thats a obvious one but its not at the layer break I checked. For kicks I'm going to try gladiator on a different computer to eliminate the possibility of that (also different burner and media).
