sexual scene skipper

I really need a plugin or a program that skips sexual scene in movies...

I may give it the start time and the lengh of the scenes to skip them

I dunno why, but I still have an opinion that this dude uses this forum as a place for his advertizing with all those links in his sig...

Maybe I'm wrong, but a man who runs such a site would know what's the difference between divx and xvid. Try to scan some of his questions, I'm not gonna comment on this. :o

hmm. there's a button on most remotes for that. check your remote. is there a button with 2 triangles pointing right, and a rectangle abutting the rightmost triangle? this button skips to the next scene.

Rather than editing the movie or skipping a scene, personally I'd recommend skipping the movie if you find parts of it offensive ...

Anyways, it does make me kinda wondered now if maxidrom11 is really using forums to advertise through this sig.

On another note, it just gets to me when you help people who want help and you don't hear from them anymore. Not even to reply if the suggestions worked or not. If I knew beforehand that I was going to be talking to a brick wall then I would just ignore the post. <SIGH> Well, it's only been one day for me in this thread.

Yeh, and I'm a Santa Claus... Definetly... If he needs a traffic, he should post something usefull on his site. Or make a p0rn site, THAT will bring him traffic... Using forums like doom9 or Digital Video for these purposes is just lame in my eyes...

On the off chance that there was actually someone wondering about it, RCA along with ClearPlay made a DVD player that would filter 'objectionable' content. There were a series of probably 30 options for what you found objectionable. I've seen it in action, and it works reasonably well. I think RCA pulled it because someone filed a lawsuit and they didn't want to deal with it. It may be available still in some areas.

I know there are also software players that exist that perform the same action. I don't recall any names.

While searching for info, I came accross this page (http://www.viewerfreedom.org/) for supporting a new act that would make it legal to have automated skipping of portions of DVDs you already own. Strangely named the "Family Movie Act", it limits itself to the movie itself, and specificaly exclude the right to skip commercials. I must be confused, but I wasn't aware of this being illegal at all already.
