Hi All,
I am trying to IVTC a cartoon (NTSC - 29.97fps) but I found that it had two different patterns.
The first is the basic 3:2 pattern, and it appears in parts of the movie where there is fast action.
The other is like a 4:1 pattern - the first two frames are duplicates, the next two are also duplicates and the fifth one is interlaced. The frames are like A-A-B-B-C-D-D-E-E-F-G-G-H-H.... etc. I hope I explained that properly.
If I get the 3:2 part right, I am missing the 4:1 parts - and if I get the 4:1 parts right, I mess up the 3:2 parts.
Can anyone suggest how the avs script should be for this situation?
I was using Telecide, and tried TIVTC also but am new to that.
Any help/suggestions appreciated.
Thank you.
