film too big

i've done a movie with rb 0.70 but the result is that the files i have at the end are too big to be on a dvd.
the final size is 4.7gb where can it come from ?

dvdr size is 4.37GB or 4.7GB depnding on how you define GB
as 1000^3B or 1024^3B

well it was too big to be burnt with recordnowmax and it's the first time it happens to me

This is a known error with 0.70. It is fixed in 0.71, so you have to wait and see. There is also another thread about this subject.

Just process your RB output through DVDShrink, try setting "No Compression" for the movie in order to keep quality. Compress the Menus to the max with "Custom" (remember your menus have not been compressed by RB)
