I have been using AutoGK 1.60 for a while and have had no problems whatsoever. A while back I decided to try the 1.87 beta. I did not like it. The encoding times were slower and I kept getting this rewrite header message when trying to open in Vidubmod 1.50.10.1

Usually, but not all the time, when I answer "NO" the job starts and goes for a while and then goes to 0.0 FPS video data.
and when I answer "YES" sometimes, but again not all the time, I get sync issues.

I have no idea why this started happening, I reverted back to 1.60 and have even tried on a fresh windows install. I am just doing Direct Stream Copy....

Any ideas on what i should do? Any better ways of cutting out commercials from AutoGK AVI files?

Nevermind. I found the stupid setting I forgot to set again.
Boy do I feel stupid.

Anybody know how I can edit out the avi's I stupidly encoded with VBR MP3 audio?

I tried to enable Priss Rocks! and still get the same error message.

you can re-encode just the mp3 from vbr to cbr using doom9's virtualdub guide. this will leave the video intact but re-encode the mp3 to cbr. sometimes you might have to re-sync the audio with the video after you're done, but should be fine.
