I don't know if this is the right section to post:
i use dvd2svcd with ds2RoBa to encode dvds and AVIs to SVCD with CCE SP as encoder.
I see that in the frameserver section i can choose between
simple resize
bilinear resize
bicubic resiza
lanczos resize
i know the differences in quality and ,consequently ,in encoding time of simple ,bilinear and bicubic but i would like to have some explanation about lanczos resize:
how is it compared to the others in terms o quality and encoding time?
Can i update it to the latest version?
If i start from a dvd or from an avi(good quality dvd rip) which is the more appropriate resize method?
