I've done it before, but it won't let me anymore.

Previously, in Nero Recode, I've been able to add an MPEG, or a VOB, in the DVD Data Files window and encode it to MP4. But now, the Next button is disabled. It's enabled if I try to encode a DVD title rather than an individual file.

I'm currently using Recode 2.2.6.9.

Thanks for any information.

Yes, the same problem troubled me a lot. It seems now there's no way to import vob file to Recode. But why don't you try to use the AviSynth as a frameserver. In that way you can load the mpeg file to recode indirectly. Cheers!:D

Thanks for the suggestion, but it seems that whatever file I add, mpg, avs, avi, vob, it won't enable the Next button.

The strange thing is that it worked fine about 10 days ago, so I don't know what's changed...

Try copying only the vob to harddisk. Then use "Recode DVDs and Videos to Nero Digital"->Import.
Yes, to me it looks like you cant encode one VOB from a DVD atm, unless you copy it to harddisk. But you can of course choose specific range from DVD to encode.

Thanks John.

The Import Title button seemed to work, and lets me recode VOBs, MPEGs, AVIs and avisynth files.
