Hello to everyone, and thanks for the great support given in this forum. I have always found answers to my questions, but I have finally found a new one and would appreciate some help.
I am making a DVD from my VHS 0423 "Bride of the Monster". I've captured the data onto my hard drive, and cleaned it as much as I can. Then, I found a DVD of the original movie release of "Bride of the Monster".
I want to keep the quality of the DVD movie, but overlay it with ONLY the black sillouettes of the MST3K team and seats.
I have tinkered with the "layer" within AviSynth, but just can't seem to figure it out. The black sillouettes are MUCH MUCH darker than the darkest part of the original movie, so I tried the "darken" feature, hoping to only use the darkest part from the second "mst3k" clip, and the rest from the original movie.
I'm stumped and would greatly appreciate any help. With all that these scripts can do, I know this should be a piece of cake.
