Hi,
this is a small suggestion about the subs in AutoGK; In my opinion, the only "problem" with this great soft... :
It would be nice to choose beetween compressed subs (.rar), and uncompressed subs (the 2 files .sub & .idx). Here's what :
I use to play my DivX movies on my Xbox (with a modchip :-). The player (XBMC) accepts .avi files with VobSub subs, but only without any compression.
Furthermore, I've heard more and more MPEG4 players accept different kind of subs, like subrip but also VobSub, but without rar or zip compression...
To overcome this problem, I usually make a preview of my movie, I save the generated .sub & .idx files (from the temp folder), and I make the movie on a CD without any subs, minus the lenght of these 2 files... And I burn my 3 files (.avi, .sub & .idx) on my CD. Not very easy, but it works.
It would be really great to have a little box "compressed subs" somwhere in AutoGK ;-)
What do you think about it ?
