Where is the default audio stream value adjusted? Yes, I've read all the guides. Yes, I'm not knew to this. Yes, I know how to switch streams. Don't assume I'm some cluebie.

My problem is this, this dvd DEFAULTS to stream2 (2.0 audio) even if you don't choose a stream. I stripped streams 2,3 and only left stream 1 (5.1, ID: 32768). However, the the dvd won't play stream1 by default. It will still try to play stream2 even though it doesn't exist, yada yadyada. There's no reason to have 'two streams' listed and 'two audios' listed in the audio menu since 5.1 (the one I kept) is the first stream and the only stream kept. Hope that makes sense. Screwing around with stream ID numbers has no affect with this issue. Somewhere else in the ifos there is something forcing stream2 to be played by default if you don't choose a stream!

Anyone?

With what tool did you use to strip your streams?

2COOL, I figured it out. I used ReAuthorist. Anyhow, ignore me.. I redid it again from the beginning (the ifoediting) and I got it to work. In my tiredness I must have edited something wrong or I didn't reload the files in PowerDVD before testing. Anyhow, feel free to assume I'm a cluebie at this point... but I'm just dead tired. It doesn't pay to do this stuff when you're tired! Thanks for the quick response though. ;)

No problem. ;) Glad you figured it out yourself. :)
