View Full Version : Encodes come out too big (0.72-VIP & CCE 2.70.01.05)

Hey all,

With previous version the encodes was know to come out too big (there was a thread about it, also). But now I have the same problem with current encodes. I have tried "Starsky and Hutch" R2 and "24" season 1 disc 1, and both came out a little bit too big.
And no, I didn't use any CCETargetSectors=x or any other mods. The DVD-RB was a clean install and with default settings. Only thing I can imagine is CCE SP Trial 2.70.01.05 or passes, which were in my case 6.

Has anyone else experienced these problems? Any idea what can I do with them?

You can use Target_Sectors to a size lower than the default (2236000)

Or you can just process your RB output through DVD Shrink: Normally just shrinking the menus (which were not compressed by RB), with "No compression" for the main movie should do the trick.
