Post Subject Titles - so many are not descriptive of the subject

Since I have been visiting the forum I have found the lack of descriptive Thread titles is a big problem. It really slows things down when I am searching for help with a problem.

I have noticed that it is a big issue on here that people should use the search and look for answers before asking for help. But this lack of properly titled threads makes that very messy and frustrating a lot of times.

I am new myself but I have not found it hard to title my threads and I don't think anyone else should as it's not difficult :scared:

It would make the whole Doom9 forum experience easier and more fun rather than often very time-consuming (and leading to conflict from what I have read.) I know there are already rules which new people are asked to read, but this major issue could be made more prominent, I think it would solve a lot of negative things.

I think perhaps you exaggerate. The moderators do a pretty good job of enforcing the rules. One thing you may be unaware of is that we are a little more lenient in the Newbies forum, for obvious reasons. If you come across a badly titled thread you can always report it to a moderator.

Also take advantage of the targeting in the search. (using the search button not the quick search) you can target the forum you would most likely find the solution in.. (which avoids searches in newbies)
